Commercial stone is a different discipline from residential. The quantities are larger, the programme is fixed, and the work has to be sequenced around other trades on a live site.
We have delivered stone for luxury hotels including the Royal Lancaster Hotel, the Landmark Hotel and the Marriott, for retail interiors including Chanel at Harrods, and for multi-storey residential developments across central London. We are CHAS accredited.

We work directly with designers, main contractors and project managers, and we hold slabs so that a specification agreed at design stage is the material that actually arrives on site.
Hotel stonework has to look immaculate and survive commercial use, which are usually competing demands. Reception counters, bar tops, vanity units, lobby floors and wall cladding all take punishment that a private residence never sees, and they are cleaned nightly with products that would ruin an unsealed marble.
Roma Marble has supplied stone to the Royal Lancaster Hotel, the Landmark Hotel and Marriott properties. Front of house and back of house are specified differently: the lobby can carry a softer, more dramatic stone, while a working hotel kitchen needs something that will not etch.
On a multi-plot development the challenge is not one beautiful kitchen. It is forty of them, matching, delivered in sequence, to a specification agreed months earlier.
Natural stone varies from block to block, so honouring that specification means reserving the material rather than re-ordering it later by name. We hold slabs for exactly this reason. Where absolute consistency is required across every unit, engineered stone and large-format porcelain are usually the more honest recommendation, and we will say so.
Chelsea Barracks, Television Centre and Chiltern Place were all delivered this way.
The risk on a commercial stone package is rarely the stone. It is the sequence — templating too early, a slab that is no longer available when the order is placed, or a delivery that cannot reach the floor it is needed on.
Sourcing direct and fabricating in our own workshop is what lets us hold a date rather than pass on someone else's delay.
