Roma Marble recently completed a striking kitchen installation in Hampstead, featuring the bold and contemporary Infinity Royal Peacock porcelain. This project perfectly demonstrates how precision craftsmanship and premium materials can transform a kitchen into a true design statement.
Working alongside K&I Kitchens, we were commissioned to fabricate and install 12mm polished porcelain surfaces with a 30mm mitred downstand, creating the appearance of a thicker, solid slab while maintaining the practical benefits of porcelain. The material, supplied by Clay International, offers both durability and dramatic visual impact – ideal for a modern London home.

A Statement Island with Waterfall Legs
The centrepiece of the kitchen is a beautifully crafted island featuring waterfall legs on both sides. The Infinity Royal Peacock porcelain flows continuously from the worktop down to the floor, creating a clean and architectural silhouette.
The 30mm mitred edge detail enhances the overall aesthetic, giving the illusion of a substantial slab while retaining the strength and lightweight properties of porcelain. Full Cladding for a Seamless Finish
In addition to the main work surfaces, this project included full cladding of the open larder unit. The continuation of the porcelain across vertical surfaces adds depth and cohesion, elevating the overall design.
